Traffic at O’Hare Airport reached record levels in 2017. According to the Chicago Department of Aviation, some 79.8 million passengers passed through the aiport last year, a 2.4 percent increase from 2016, which was also a record year. O’Hare’s growth is partially due to an increase in international passengers, which was up 6 percent, and cargo, which grew by 1.9 million tons. (Crain’s)
